What is a 1099 Tax Form?

A 1099 is a form that reports your income made as a self-employed person, independent contractor, or creator. You need it to file your taxes.

If you earned $600 or more in a calendar year through Growi, we'll issue you a 1099 form. Forms are made available by January/February of the following year.

Note: If you earned less than $600 in the tax year, you will not receive a 1099. This is standard IRS reporting practice and does not mean you don't need to report that income on your own taxes.

1. Go to Your Payments Page

  1. Log in to Growi and navigate to Payments in the left sidebar.

  2. Locate the Stripe Dashboard button in the top right of the payments table.

  3. Click Stripe Dashboard to open your account in Stripe.

2. Find Your Tax Forms in Stripe

Once inside your Stripe Express dashboard:

  1. Click Tax forms in the left sidebar.

  2. Use the year selector in the top right to choose the tax year you need.

  3. Your available 1099 form will be listed under the Form column. Click it to view or download.

Note: If no form appears, either you haven't crossed the $600 earnings threshold for that tax year, or the form hasn't been issued yet. Forms become available by January/February of the following year.
