You now have the ability to automatically send TikTok Shop target collaborations whenever a creator is approved on a campaign or contract. This saves you time from having to send collabs manually, and makes it easier for creators to get the right commission and request samples.

When to Use Target Collabs?

Setting up a target collab is optional. Brands use this when they want creators to receive a TikTok Shop collab link right after being approved, instead of handling the process separately.

Where to Find It?

When creating a campaign or contract, head to the Details and Advanced section. You’ll see a section for TikTok with an option to Configure target collaborations.

Setting Up a Target Collab

Click Configure to open the target collab setup. From here, you can:

  • Choose a template: Save time by reusing templates across campaigns or contracts.

  • Select products: Add the product(s) creators will promote.

  • Set commissions: Choose both regular commission and ads commission rates.

  • Offer free samples: Toggle on if you want to provide samples.

  • Manual review: If on, you’ll approve each sample request manually. If off, requests are auto-approved.

  • Set expiration: Define how long the collab is valid. We recommend at least 3 months to give creators time to post.

  • Add name and message: These appear to creators when they receive the collab.

Can I Setup Templates?

If you run multiple campaigns or contracts, use Save as Template to store your setup. Templates can be reused anywhere, saving you time from re-creating the same settings over and over.

What Happens Next?

Once everything is saved and your campaign or contract goes live, any creator you approve will automatically get the target collab on TikTok Shop with the exact details you configured.
