Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Go to Set Alerts
Log in to your Growi account.
In the left sidebar, scroll down to the AI Workflows section.
Click Set Alerts. This opens the Set Alerts page where all your workflows are listed.
Step 2: Create a New Workflow
In the top right corner of the Set Alerts page, click the Create Workflow button.
A screen will appear asking: What do you want to automate? You will see two options: Setup Custom Alerts and Send SMS messages.
Click Setup Custom Alerts.
Step 3: Name Your Workflow (Goal)
You are now on the Goal step. This is where you give your workflow a name.
In the workflow name field, type a clear name that describes what this workflow does. For example: Reward High View Posts or Notify Team of Viral Content.
You can also add an optional description to give more context. This is for your team only — creators will never see this.
Once you have entered a name, click Next to continue.
Step 4: Choose Your Scope
Scope determines which creators this workflow will monitor. You have two options:
Option | What it means |
All creators | The workflow monitors every creator in your Growi account across all campaigns and contracts. |
Campaign/Contract | The workflow only monitors creators who are part of a specific campaign or contract that you select. |
Select All creators if you want this workflow to apply to everyone.
Select Campaign/Contract if you want to limit it to specific creators, then choose the campaign or contract from the dropdown that appears.
Click Next to continue.
Note: If you select Campaign/Contract, you must choose at least one from the dropdown before you can proceed.
Step 5: Set Up Your Trigger — Tier Milestone
You are now on the Nurture step. This is where you define what condition must be met before the workflow fires, and what should happen when it does.
First, choose your trigger category. You will see five options on screen: Post Performance, Sales / GMV, Post Activity, Campaign/Contract Decision, and Tier Milestone.
Click Tier Milestone.
Define your condition
A condition box will appear. Currently there is one available condition:
Condition | When it fires |
First tier views hit | Fires when a creator reaches the first view tier milestone in your program. |
Select First tier views hit. This condition does not require a number — it fires automatically when the milestone is reached.
Note: Additional tier milestones may be added in future updates.
Step 6: Choose What Should Happen (Actions)
Once your trigger condition is set, scroll down to the Select actions section. This is where you choose what Growi should do when the condition is met. There are three categories of actions:
CRM Updates
Use these to automatically update a creator's status in your pipeline.
Action | What it does |
Move creator to stage | Automatically moves the creator to a different stage in your CRM pipeline. Toggle it on and select the stage from the dropdown. |
Add tag to creator | Adds a label to the creator's profile for easy filtering later. Click Create tags first if you have not set up any tags yet. |
Add tag to post | Adds a label to the specific post that triggered the condition. Not available for all trigger types. |
Messaging
Use these to automatically send a message to the creator when the condition is met.
Action | What it does |
DM template | Sends a TikTok or Instagram DM to the creator. Coming soon. |
Email template | Sends a personalized email to the creator. Toggle on and select or create an email template. |
TikTok Shop DM | Sends a direct message via TikTok Shop. |
SMS template | Sends a text message to the creator. Toggle on and select or create a template. |
Internal Alerts
Use these to notify your team when the condition is met.
Action | What it does |
Slack webhook URL | Sends a message to a Slack channel of your choice. Click Connect Slack to set it up. |
Discord webhook | Sends a message to a Discord channel. Paste your Discord webhook URL. |
Email brand team | Sends an email notification to your team's email address. |
Text brand team | Sends a text message notification to your team. |
Note: You can enable multiple actions at the same time. For example, you can send an email to the creator AND ping your Slack channel simultaneously.
Toggle on each action you want to use and fill in the required details. When you are done, click Next.
Step 7: Set Your Schedule
You are now on the Schedule step. This controls when the workflow starts running and when it stops.
Start Date
Click the Start Date field and select the date you want the workflow to begin. If you pick today's date, the workflow will start immediately after you launch it. If you pick a past date, Growi will also check back and trigger actions for any creators who already met the condition since that date.
End Date
Choose one of the following:
Option | What it means |
Run Indefinitely | The workflow keeps running until you manually pause or delete it. This is the default and is recommended for ongoing monitoring. |
End on Specific Date | The workflow automatically stops on the date you select. Use this for time-limited campaigns. |
Once you have set your schedule, click Next.
Step 8: Review and Launch
You are now on the Review step. This page shows a full summary of everything you have configured:
Goal: Your workflow name and description.
Scope: Whether it applies to all creators or a specific campaign/contract.
Nurture: The trigger condition and the actions you selected.
Schedule: The start and end dates.
Read through each section carefully. If anything looks wrong, click the Edit button next to that section to go back and change it.
When everything looks correct, click Launch Workflow.
Note: Workflows can take a few minutes to fully activate after launching. Once live, you can pause, edit, or archive any workflow at any time from the Set Alerts page by clicking the three-dot menu on the right side of the workflow.
