How to Top Up Your Balance

When would I use this?

Before you can pay creators through Growi, you need funds in your account. Topping up your balance means you're pre-loading money so that when it's time to pay creators, you can do it instantly — no need to enter card details every single time. It's like loading a wallet before you shop.

This is especially useful if you're managing a large roster of creators and want to run bulk payouts quickly without friction.

How to top up your balance

Step 1 — Go to Pay Creators

In the left sidebar, scroll to the CRM section and click Pay Creators.

Step 2 — Click Add Balance

At the top of the Pay Creators page you'll see three balance indicators: Available Balance, Pending Balance, and Total Owed. In the top right corner, click the purple Add Balance button.

Step 3 — Add a payment method

A panel will slide in from the right. If you haven't added a payment method yet, you'll see 'No Payment Method on File'. Click Add payment method to continue.

Step 4 — Choose your payment method

A Stripe-powered form will open. Enter your email address and select how you want to fund your account:

  • Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club) — Funds are available immediately. A 3% processing fee applies, charged by Stripe.

  • US bank account (ACH) — No fee at all. Funds take 3–5 business days to clear and become available.

  • Google Pay — Available if already set up on your device.

Step 5 — Save and top up

Enter your details and click Save. Once your payment method is saved, enter the amount you want to add to your balance and confirm. That's it — your balance will update and you'll be ready to pay creators.

Fee & timing breakdown

Here's a quick summary so you know what to expect:

  • ACH (US bank account): 0% fee. Takes 3–5 business days to become available in your balance.

  • Credit / Debit Card: 3% processing fee. Available in your balance immediately.

💡 Tip: If you're topping up a large amount, ACH will save you a significant amount in fees. Use card only when you need funds available right away.
